The RKS Laundry Pod is a prototype handwash helper that helps cut down on energy use and makes washing by hand much easier. Put the dirty items into the Pod, then add soap and water. Soak and then spin by pumping the hand lever. Drain out the soapy water, refill and spin to rinse. Drain and spin to damp dry. This is perfect for those who hate to deal with their delicates or get hand cramps wringing out.

A.M.O. is a large vase by Jean Marc Gady that "plays with imbalance and illusion" with a touch of political undertone. Two large glass containers are balanced on a pedestal like cannons but with flowers for ammunition. "The scene appears frozen in time, defying the laws of gravity". After the jump, The French CanCan is for an installation at Gallery R' Pure in New York and is an interpretation of the traditional cabaret dance. Gady has created a wheel of pleated lampshades, bringing to mind the dancers' petticoats.

Produced by Norway's HOV Møbelindustri and designed by Permafrost and Katharina Styren, Røys is a collection that features a modular bookshelf and room divider that is also sound absorbing. Set on a slight angle, the shelving provides much visual interest by displaying books on the diagonal. Not bad work for the humble cube.

Clark is more of a workstation than a simple desk. Designed by Jacob Brinck for llot llov, Clark offers several nooks and cubbies for easy stashing when another task becomes the priority. Clark offers space for organized chaos, especially if it can be stacked. There are spots for office supplies, books and a variety of papers and files. It is up to the user as to how to use them.
